Burning an NFT

When you mint an NFT, the name, the style, the image, and the description of the tattoo are permanently recorded on the blockchain. If you made a mistake while minting the NFT or want to change this information for any other reason, you must first burn that NFT and mint a new one with the desired changes.

Important: You can’t burn an NFT if it is previously sold to a collector!

The only way for an artist to burn a tattoo they have previously sold is to first buy back that tattoo on a secondary marketplace.

Burning an NFT is an irreversible action!
