What is a Crypto Wallet?

You may be excited to join the world of digital currency and use it to sell your artwork or accept payment for your services. But where do you start? A crypto wallet is a tool that lets you manage and use your digital currency, and it makes it easy to send and receive payments, track your balance, and conduct other operations on the blockchain.

Tip: There are two main types of crypto wallets: hot wallets and cold wallets.

Hot wallets are wallets that are always connected to the internet, which makes them convenient to use. However, they are also more vulnerable to cyber attacks. Examples of hot wallets include mobile wallets, desktop wallets, and web wallets.

Cold wallets, on the other hand, are wallets that are not connected to the internet and are considered to be more secure. They include hardware wallets and paper wallets. Hardware wallets are physical devices that store your private keys offline, while paper wallets are physical copies of your public and private keys.
